Lead-lined X-ray Shielded Cabin

Lead-lined X-ray Shielded Cabin

The lead-lined X-ray shielded cabin is a self-contained structure designed to provide complete protection against ionizing radiation, ideal for hospital environments, research laboratories, and diagnostic departments. Built with certified materials and advanced assembly techniques, it ensures safety, durability, and full compliance with current radioprotection regulations.

The cabin is constructed using modular shielding panels made of steel sheets or multilayer wood, inside which a first-cast lead sheet (99.9% purity) is inserted, calibrated and brushed to ensure continuity of the protective barrier. The supporting structure is made of galvanized steel or extruded aluminum, with mechanical joints designed to prevent radiation leakage.

The panels are finished on both sides with scratch-resistant plastic laminate, stainless steel, or epoxy powder coating, available in a wide range of RAL colors to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements of the environment.

The lead-lined X-ray shielded cabin can be configured according to its intended use, either as a radiological control station, a technical room, or a protected area for medical staff.

Its modular design allows for customized installations, with dimensions adaptable to available spaces, without the need for invasive construction work. The dry assembly system ensures quick installation, easy maintenance, and the possibility of disassembly or reconfiguration over time.
